Within the framework of the national Swedish Food Strategy, Marie supports coordination and multistakeholder collaborations across government and across sectors.

​​​​​​​Her focus is on knowledge development, knowledge sharing as well as facilitation of innovative policy development processes.
She was previously project manager of the Agenda-2030 centered project Nordic Food Policy Lab at the Nordic Council of Ministers. Prior to this she worked as a knowledge broker on sustainable food systems and sustainable healthy diets in particular at the Food Climate Research Network based at Oxford University (now Table).
